Horse-drawn float where the theme is Governor Phillip & the ship 'Sirius' at the Sydney Harbour Bridge opening celebrations. Also on the float are Aboriginal Australian people in ceremonial dress who were part of a gum-leaf orchestra called the “The Leaf Band” from the Lake Wallaga community. Orchestra members include. Tommy Foster, Percy “Mumbler” Mumbulla, Edwin “Guboo” Ted Thomas, Eileen Pittman, Ned Hoskins, Ernie Hoskins, Harold Picalla, Willy Thomas, Private Andy Bond, Albert Thomas and Cronjy Parsons.
