Since its opening in 1963, Fisher Library has been a hub to meet new friends, pursue scholarly endeavours and be immersed in university life. To commemorate the 60th Anniversary of Fisher Library, people were invited to share their stories from the past six decades for inclusion in a Memory Book.

This Memory Book contains submitted notes, alongside photos from the Library’s history; photo strips and messages taken at the Fisher Library 60th Anniversary student celebrations on 2 November 2023; handwritten messages from Fisher Library 60th Anniversary day of festivities on 6 November 2023; and a speech by Kate McClymont, delivered at the celebratory Cocktail Reception on 6 November 2023.
