Bullivant's Rag & Famish

Photo of the original Rag & Famish Hotel on the corner of Miller and Berry Street, St Leonards (now North Sydney). It was first established in 1860 and is the oldest pub in North Sydney still standing (photograph by Dr Robert Ward). First known as the Sailors Return, it was purchased in 1866 by Charles Bullivant, who renamed it The Rag & Famish Hotel.
