Collection Description
This collection is made up of the sixty-five plates of "non-descript animals, birds, lizards, serpents, curious cones of trees and other natural productions" illustrated by Sarah Stone in John White's Journal of a voyage to New South Wales, London : Printed for J. Debrett, 1790. The Library holds two first edition copies of this publication in Rare Books and Special Collections, published in 1790, and the first French edition, published in 1795.
