Within this curated collection we have gathered the images from Norfolk Island from the main Berckelman collection of glass plate negatives, 1920-1935. There are beautiful landscapes with birds and local flora as well as images of local communities, buildings, boats and a rugged coastline. Highlights include pictures of Kingston and St Barnabas Chapel’s beautiful stained-glass windows.
The Berckelman collection's glass plate negatives were collected between 1920 - 1935 by Collin B. Berckelman (1907-1965).
